Darn Yarn & Stuff Like That

NaKniSweMo ~ Mission Complete ~ November 29, 2014

Petite Panache Jacket Pattern.
I took the challenge to knit a sweater in a month (National Knit a Sweater Month ~ NaKniSweMo).  Here it is.

I knit it with Lion Brand: Vanna’s Choice in Taupe.
I had to learn: Old Norwegian Cast on, Sewn Cast Off, Short Rows, and Pleats.
My favorite part: The Seed Stitch portion (never thought I’d say that because it’s a pain to work!) It makes up the collar, edging of jacket and sleeves and the contrast in the pleats. And the BUTTONS!!! They are handmade.  I met a lady on Facebook through a very good friend of mine and when I shared that I was on the hunt for buttons she showed me these.  How perfect!  Thank you Rhonda!!!

I was able to get the little girl to stand still for 2 seconds to get the FINAL picture.  If all goes well, she will be wearing it to church.

And this concludes my first (and definatly not my last) NaKniSweMo for 2014!! Until next year…Keep Calm and Yarn On!!!
